1. Free to use

TepStat is free for everyone. You may read, share, print and link to any page.

2. Reusing our work

Our text, charts and derived CSV files are licensed under CC BY 4.0. Credit “TepStat (tepstat.com)” and the original source. The underlying data keeps its own licence (see Sources & licences). OpenStreetMap-based data is ODbL and has share-alike terms.

3. Not advice

TepStat gives general information from public statistics. It is not financial, legal, investment or business advice. Verdicts like “some room” are starting points. Visit the place, talk to people, and get professional advice before you spend money.

4. Accuracy

We check our numbers carefully, but data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong at source (for example, small stalls missing from maps). The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, TepStat is not liable for losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.

5. Fair use of the site and API

Don’t overload the site, scrape it in a way that harms other users, or try to break its security. We may rate-limit automated access.

6. Names and logos

“TepStat”, “TepMap” and the hexagon logo identify our work. Please don’t use them in a way that suggests we endorse you. Trademark registration is in progress.

7. Law
